Regular price $185.00

*Please read all info before purchasing, including the cancellation policy for classes!*

Celebrate World Oceans Day by painting sustainable fish!  Sophie will guide you through a watercolor lesson featuring sardines and anchovies.  Suitable for new or returning watercolorists - you don't even need to know how to draw a stick figure - Sophie can teach students at any experience level!  You can either bring your own supplies or purchase a kit.

Date: Saturday, June 8

Time: 2pm-4pm *we will start on time, please be prompt.*

Location: the patio of Terrene at 1 Hotel in San Francisco. This is a beautiful location in the heart of SF on the Embarcadero across from the Ferry Building.  Wear layers as weather can change quickly in the city. Valet parking is available at a discounted rate of $15 for attendees.

Details: The format of this class will start with an introduction of materials and a painting demonstration by Sophie, followed by work time and individual consultations.

Materials: Either bring your own or purchase a kit from Sophie. If bringing your own supplies, you'll need:

- paints: the more colors the better in my opinion!  Bring what you have but make sure you have the following colors: red, yellow, green, blue, and black.

- paper: must be watercolor paper. Cold press or hot press will work.  Size is up to you, I like 6"x8" or 9"x12"

- brushes: size 4 or 6 round recommended. It's nice to have a couple of options and make sure one brush has a fine point.

- pencil with eraser

If you purchase a kit from Sophie it will include: a 12-color watercolor set in a metal case, a size 4 round brush, and a pad of 15 sheets of watercolor paper.

Cancellation Policy:

- Cancel 7 days or more before class (by June 1): you will receive a refund minus a $20 fee

- Cancel less than 7 days before class (after June 1): you will receive a 50% refund

- No credits or refunds issued after June 7.
