A natural mineral pigment that is lightfast and opaque with a smooth texture, Titanium White is made from titanium dioxide which occurs in nature as the minerals rutile, anatase and brookite.
Sophie says: “Although white watercolor isn’t used often, it can enhance paintings in a special way. I use titanium white to add opacity to things like mold/decay on leaves or dull highlights on feathers.”
